Mike Hill serves as Head of Data & Research at Virtu Global Advisors, where he sets the firm’s technology strategy and leads applied‑AI initiatives that power client insight and intellectual‑property valuation. Mike has a decade of experience launching and growing technology solutions in the entertainment industry.

Prior to joining Virtu Global, Mike was a founding member and Head of Data Science at beatBread, a venture-backed fintech that advances streaming-royalty capital to independent artists, where he scaled the team from a three-person garage experiment to 40 cross-functional employees and built the company’s machine-learning engine—pricing more than $100 million in royalty transactions. Earlier in his career, he held senior data science roles at VER, optimizing global inventory logistics and revenue forecasting across a 400‑location network.

Mike earned a B.S. in Computer Science and served as Student Body President at Brigham Young University–Idaho.

Outside of work, Mike spends weekends exploring southern Utah’s red-rock trails with his wife and two young sons and unwinds over sci-fi novels and applying data science to competitive strategy games.
